"Loved seeing Tuckahoe fpt the first time. Hoping to book an interior tour next time, but the grounds are very nice with cool outbuildings and a little museum. Even from the outside the house is stunning. Parts are frame and parts are Flemish bond masonry with glazed headers...stunning."

"We enjoyed the walk around the grounds of the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson. He lived on these grounds from the ages of 2-9. Fun just walk and wonder what life would have been for him during that time. The grounds are well kept with spring flowers in full bloom and expansive considering where the plantation is located. A $5 donation is requested by not required. Would love to see the inside of the house. I have heard that it is occasionally open to the public but I'm not sure when."
Lori Goff
"If I could give this six stars, I would. What a nice place just to look around and be in nature. It was blissfully quiet on a cold January day, which makes it all the better. The place is amazing in how expansive it is beyond just the grounds, featuring a quarry, springs, garden, kitchen, several outbuildings, school house, memorial cemetery...the list goes on. They even have two free ranging border collies that are just the absolute best and a shy cat. 100% worth the visit, will recommend."
