What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Carvins Cove for its stunning natural beauty and diverse outdoor activities, particularly kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking. The extensive trail system and scenic reservoir are frequently highlighted as major draws. While generally positive, some mention that rental equipment availability can be an issue on busy days, and the lack of swimming facilities is a point to note.
"Had a great time kayaking with my kiddos. Staff was great! Best bang for your buck, $15 for an hour on a double kayak. They're generous with the time, we paid for an hour but they gave us 2 ½ (we came back after 1 hour 15 minutes). They provide life jackets.
They told us the kayaks wouldn't be available for 2½ hours but then they became available after 30 minutes so don't be disheartened!"

"Great place. Perfect place to SUP board. The kayak launch makes it nice for the beginners. As you can see my sister using the launch."
Rodney Miller
"Kayak rental: $15 or $20 for tandem
Canoe/rowboat rental: $10 prices per hour
Life jackets included but come before 10 am on the weekend to make sure you get the equipment you want! Recommended time of 7-10am"
