What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Robinette's Apple Haus & Winery is a beloved West Michigan institution, especially praised for its delicious, warm apple donuts and extensive selection of local fruit wines. Visitors consistently highlight the friendly atmosphere and the fun, family-friendly activities available, particularly during the fall season. While the wine pours can be small for tastings and weekends can be very crowded, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a must-visit spot.
"I went off season (no outdoor activities involved) and was so impressed by this little gem in Grand Rapids. The donuts were beautifully soft and so satisfying. Additionally, everyone at the wine cellar was so friendly and so helpful. Though very sweet, I loved their recommendations, and I’m so glad I bought bottles to share of their peach Spumante. They did offer a discount if you buy 4+ bottles. Also, loved hearing that their wines support local MI farmers as all the fruit used for the fruit wines comes from MI farms."

"I absolutely love this place!
Not only does it have the best donuts around that are warm and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the cookies I recently tried were amazing too!
The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, the activities are fun for everyone, apple picking is fun (first time I ever apple picked was here!), the store is also cute with a lot of local items. Also, the winery is amazing and you can also do wine tasting!
This is definitely a family staple around West MI and a must go to!"

"I was told that Robinette’s was THE cider mill out on the West Side of the state and it did not disappoint. I was talked into trying both a cinnamon sugar and pumpkin spice donut and both were good. To be honest, I’m not too big of a pumpkin/pumpkin spice fan, but, the donut had a very subtle flavor which didn’t even taste that pumpkin like. If I was given the pumpkin spice donut without being told what it was, I’d probably just assume it’s a regular cinnamon sugar donut. Overall, cool place and good vibes!"
