"This is a monumental urban park with a lot of Rochester historical events: Battle-of-the-Band, Garth Fagan Summer dances, Christmas-n-the Park, Thursday's Bands-n-the Park. There is also a wading pool, a dynamic rental space for special events in the lower quad & an ice skating rink during the colder months.
I feel that the City of Rochester could provide a MORE 'detailed maintenance service' at this site for beautification purposes. It's sad that the MLK Park after so many years of quality entertainment has slidered to this depth of desolation. 🥺"

"Went here while my kids and I were out exploring looking for a playground. There was snow outside so the kids still had a blast. They have these awesome long slides and a few other obstacle things that kids can play on. I remember doing boot camp there and it's so much fun because there's so much space and stairs to do your workout on. I believe they do a lot of events here in the summer time too. Definitely worth checking out. I'm for sure taking my kids again when the weather gets nicer. Al though they loved it while snowing too."
