What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate Gamehaven Reservoir and Trails for its diverse activities, including mountain biking, disc golf, and fishing, as well as its natural beauty and year-round accessibility. However, some find the trail maps confusing, and the park can get crowded and muddy, impacting the quiet nature experience for some.
"Wooded and meadow paths were used by both walkers and bikes. Wooden structures for mountain biking were scattered throughout. The map and signs are confusing, as is the boundary of the park. There is an Archery range, a disk golf course and a reservoir. Not super busy in November. Nice to have another place close by to walk with the dogs."

"Gamehaven is one of my favorite places to bike to and just be one with nature.
They removed some of the trails and opened them up. It now has a full Frisbee golf course that was very busy. It was quite muddy. I miss the days when I could go there and just read a book uninterrupted.
That would be hard to do now with all the people milling around and very little shade. It's not as easy to hear the wildlife. I remember when there were constant bikers on the trails. I might have seen one this time.
Again, it's hard to ride. The trails were not as clearly marked. It was very muddy. (Where did the grass go?) and there were many people to have to dodge.
Overall opinion:
Unless you like to be in the direct sun with many people and truly enjoy the sport of Frisbee Golf I suggest finding a new spot for quiet and nature. Also with all the added foot traffic, there was more littering. It's a shame...
It was difficult to take pics. I had to be strategic about how I set up the shots to keep others out if frame."

"Not a ton of trails but it's close and maintained."
