What the heck is there to do around here? I am here visiting my parents often to help my mom during chemo and the most exciting thing I have to do is go to cookout and try a milkshake flavor I haven’t tried yet. I NEED to gtfo out of that house. My dad is constantly watching Fox…

Escaping Hurricane Milton, what to do in Rock Hill?
Hi there! My fiancé and I are staying with a cousin in Rock Hill while we wait for Milton to pass over our home. What are some fun things we can do up here to distract ourselves? My cousin has preteens so her suggestions were mostly kid friendly stuff (which we love that too)!…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the White House tour for its historical significance and the unique opportunity to see inside such an iconic building. The free admission and the chance to walk through historic rooms are major highlights. However, the stringent booking process and security checks can be challenging, and the self-guided nature means less in-depth interpretation on-site.
"So. Story time.
Our wedding was on 10/25/2025 and in September of 2025, everything exploded. Our original venue was just. Stress central. Rules changed. The price kept growing. It was just. Horrid. So I threw a Hail Mary. I called the white home and emailed in desperation. Matt answered and literally it was a miracle. It was a perfect and welcoming environment. Everything was transparent and clear. Ugh. When I say they saved my wedding, I genuinely mean it. I’m so thankful for Matt’s calmness and grace. Erica’s no nonsense and clear instructions. And Tory’s willingness to just always be there. They were the team of a lifetime that gave us the most perfect wedding. I’m so thankful. It was beautiful. I can’t recommend it enough. My only regret was not choosing them at the get go. Thank you all again. It was the most amazing time."

"We got married at The White Home in Rock Hill, and I honestly don’t even know how to put into words how incredible the experience was. Every single part of the day was beautiful, smooth, and full of joy—and that’s 100% thanks to the amazing venue and Matt Stranes, our wedding planner.
Matt was truly phenomenal. He thought of things before we even had a chance to ask and made the entire planning process feel calm, fun, and organized. On the day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a thing—he handled it all with grace and care, and it honestly felt like he was everywhere at once making sure everything was perfect.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The White Home has this charm and warmth that makes everything feel intimate and special. We’re still glowing from it all and just so grateful. If you’re thinking about getting married here—do it. We couldn’t be happier."

Highly recommend for couples looking for a venue that’s as beautiful as it is welcoming!"
