"I'm not a fan of modern art. To be honest, I don't understand the majesty of this jumble of cylinders. But I do appreciate the notion that someone tried to make something that symbolizes Rockford. And its grand scale forces the viewer to reckon with it. I do think that it is more at home here on the bike path than it was hidden downtown in the 70s.
