"We came to see this lovely 1,000 year old live oak right before sunset. It is surrounded by a fence & a paved sidewalk. Steel (?) wires and poles are used to keep the branches up. Be careful not to brush your ankles with the nettle at the base of the fence—it can sting, itch & burn. There was no one in the parking lot except one other vehicle & a patron in a golf cart with his dog. It’s quite peaceful to walk around & be amongst all of the other trees too. Some laid low enough for kids to climb."

"Had nothing to do this weekend, so wherever it may lead us. This spot has been on the back of my head, but due to bad weather and timing being bad until today, this gorgeous day and We came to see this place, The Big 🌳 Tree. Was very pretty and the trees that surrounded it they were big too but this one takes the cake for being here close to the water and very hidden its nice. Has small benches just to sit and relax or meditate they're some deers 🦌 so be cautious ⚠️ when driving go speed limit or slower because these suckers just pop out of nowhere. Anyway I recommend this place only if you like nature if you don't like it, then it's not for you. It has a man made tree fence to protect it. But you're still there and can see it. I'm sure good for 🐦 bird watching to so You be the judge. I really enjoyed it, so here are a few pics. If you get out to the left you can see the water very nice. Very cool 🌬 breeze during the time we came"
