"Took my team to volunteer to do a beach clean up as part of our company initiative to give back. The beach was surprisingly clean of unnatural debris, but we still picked up a lot of trash but expected more. The sand was a bit coarse and rather packed so walking with a tennis shoe was fine.
Most goers were surfers but we went on an August Summer on a Friday, 10am - 2pm so there were not many people and was not windy. Next to the parking lot, on the north end there were 6 picnic tables and bathrooms which made it ideal to host a team picnic. The picnic area was clean and there were plenty of parking lot.
Cellular coverage on AT&T is quite bad with less than 1 bar. There are no food or stores close by so bring everything you think you will need."
