Kid Friendly Destinations
Planning a road trip from Sacramento to Seattle with my wife and daughters (5 & 7 yrs old). We'll be stopping in Roseburg for 2 nights and plan to visit the Wildlife Safari. What other kid/family friendly destinations, restraunts, etc. can you recommend?

Just doin a lil parameter check…
…I’m thinking of buying a lil house in Roseburg and I’m trying to get a feel for the community! I’m early 40s, no kids, crafty, blah blah…is it a wild move to buy in Roseburg or is this a lil hidden gem? If so, I won’t tell!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gaddis Park is appreciated for its pleasant riverside setting and sports facilities, offering a family-friendly community vibe. However, some visitors have expressed concerns regarding the presence of homeless encampments along the riverbank and a desire for improved restroom facilities.
"It’s a really nice baseball park on the river. Would be nice if there was a bathroom or even an outhouse on the T ball side of the park. Homeless camp needs to go. I did make a funny joke to my grand kids who was complaining about wanting a snack and telling him to check out the free rent district and see if there are any offerings."

"There is a large homeless camp all along the river bank of Gaddis park and to both the east and west of it. The homeless camp runs along the river bank from Deer Creek Park near Stephens all the way to the entrance to the VA near the start of the disc golf course. Tents sometimes on the disc golf course and right next to the walking path. The camp has been there in some form for years but right now it is bigger than I have ever seen it. Check my profile for current photos of the park."
