What would be the best way to visit?
My gf and I would like to try to visit next year either for Anime Midwest or C2E2. We live on the north shore, about an hour north of New Orleans. What would be the best way to visit? I’ve looked and driving would be about 10 hours, taking the Amtrak would be about 14-19 hours.…
Going to my first Fan Expo, in Chicago! Any tips?
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on things like: * What food to try? * Best hotel to stay at? * Transportation: rent a car, Uber/Lyft, taxi cab? * When to get in line for panels? * Anything else that comes to mind, maybe that you wish you knew your first time?

Has anyone parked at rosemont outlet mall garage to attend a convention at the convention center?
Like the title. Is this frowned upon to do, or is it ok if I shop a bit and then go to the convention?

"It's a very large convention center that runs small to large events all year round. The staffs were very nice and helpful. I went to the PLMA show, it was well organized and that impressed me. It also offer different routes shuttle bus service send visitors back to their hotels that gives a lot of convenience to people who have never been there before. Great service."

"We love coming to the Donald Stevens Convention Center. Several conventions are held here throughout the year. It's such an easy location to get to. Way better than driving into Chicago to McCormick Place. They have a covered parking garage to park. They normally charge $15.00 dollars for parking. There are pay booths on the main floor to pay your ticket. Also, I just noticed this year they added the option to pay on your phone too. Once you park in the garage, there is a sky bridge that leads to the Convention. Or you can take the elevator down to street level and walk to the main entrance. The choice is up to you. If you are attending more than one day. You can opt to get a hotel. There are three that have attached sky bridges, so you never have to get in your car. They do have different foods to choose from. But they are expensive. It's best to bring your own snacks to munch on. You can also bring your own drinks, non alcoholic of course. They do have a Starbucks on the main floor if you are looking for coffee. In summary this is a great place to come for any convention. They always have volunteers which are very helpful if you have any questions."
