"My first visit to the Lavender Festival was fun. I definitely want to return next year. I heard there were hourly tastings of lavender products in years past. I assume COVID changed that ... To be honest I'm more comfortable with safety than with risking my health, so I'm thankful for protective measures. I do wish more of the vendors had lavender products to buy. I appreciate the few who went that extra mile.
The grounds are beautiful. The garden was abuzz with fat bumble bees who paid no mind to the visitors. Their attention was inside the flower blooms.
I didn't go inside the hall, as the grounds had everything I wanted."
