By the looks of it this was taken in the early fall months?Aka my favorite time to be a Michigander.
Trick/treating crowds? Platform at Centennial Commons?
Two questions as a newer resident of Royal Oak? How popular is trick or treating around here? (For context, I live by the elementary school/Fresh Approach). Asking so I can buy the right amount of candy! And what are they building over by Centennial Commons?! Something for…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Red Run Greenway is a cherished local park praised for its multiple playgrounds, sports facilities, and ample shaded green space, making it a hit for families and dog owners alike. While many enjoy its nostalgic charm and recreational offerings, some visitors note the lack of restrooms and the wood chip ground cover as areas for potential improvement regarding accessibility.
"This is a really cool park with three play areas and a lot of green grass to run around. There's some toys hanging about for kids to play and some music to play under one of the slides.
The sign notes this park as accessible, but I don't think it is. There's one path that leads to the top of one of the play areas, but there's no slides or activities that are accessible otherwise. The floor is made of wood chips instead of rubber. And the accessible swing is on an island that has no path leading to it and wood chips surrounding it. It's muddy in the grass.
If they replaced the wood chips with rubber and added paths that travel across each play area, I think it would make it much more inclusive."

"Kids loved playing on the two playgrounds. My little one played in the sand as well. Ended up taking off to another park with restrooms though. There's quite a bit of shade which was nice in the heat."

"Fun playground for my 2 year old! There are still sand toys and the equipment is pretty well maintained. No restrooms."
