It's highlighted as a great spot for learning, birthday parties, and community events, though some inline skaters note the floor can be slippery.
"I went to an event ran by Michigan girl shred. It was an absolute blast. The facility was clean, the workers were friendly, and everybody was respectful of people in the park. All skill levels welcome. This was my first time ever on a pair of roller skates in the first time ever in a park. My video is not that great but I had the support to even try to go down one of the ramps."
Ashley Maple
"This place has a great staff. I'm not the greatest skater. I know enough to be dangerous. I bought my son a complete deck for Christmas and he needed a place to learn. Modern has a great atmosphere for people of all skills. Decided to get my son some private lessons so he's ready to go when summer starts. Mr. Premium is an excellent, positive and caring teacher. My son loves him, and can't wait to go more. He's been there 3 times now, and each time he gets a little bit better. I'm really happy with this place and can't stress enough the positive influence it has had on my son and his confidence!"
Olin Ezra
"We held my son's 8th birthday here today and the kids had a blast! The facility was great for all levels. The staff was really great to work with for setting up the party. We loved the relaxed environment too! There were definitely some future repeat customers created today!"
