"9 baskets with 18 playable fairways. Moderate course. We're beginners and hit 4-6 throws for each one. Clean and well kept. No map on site. But can be found online or in the Udisc app (which is super helpful for course navigation and keeping your scores!)."

"I’ve never had an issue at any royal oak parks at all until I went to Wagner park. The energy was off and literally every where I turned or walked in that park the same group of men kept following me which was extremely weird. We were not on a particular path or a bike route so it made it more uncomfortable. If I turned left they turned left and were close to me if I went down to a certain point in the valley of the park they moved there. I left the downhill area and stood near a tree to play a game on my phone and then the same group of men walked and stood by the very next tree and threw their plastic darts and frisbees at it. I decided to move to another tree and literally a frisbee and a dart hit my tree.
After that I said ok this is weird and I’m going back to my car. I head back to my car and I’m purposely parked further way from other cars because I like to have space in between vehicles. There were no other cars parked in front or behind me (which was nice).
As I head towards my car I saw a young white man wearing all black , his face was halfway covered and he was on som kind of motorcycle parked behind my vehicle. He was still sitting on his bike and kept staring at my car. I did not say anything because obviously it’s a free country you can park anywhere. Instead I decide to purposely drive further up and move my car five spaces ahead of his motorcycle for some breathing room. I finished moving my car and I kid you not I had an overwhelming “gut feeling” to look up into my rear view mirror.
I looked at my mirror and this guy was literally staring at me without a flinch. I’m thinking what the hell is going on? This whole thing was weird. He kept looking so I roll my window down to ask “can I help you?” As soon as I said that he pulls off and drives up the street.
I don’t know it was just creepy! I’ve never had an experience like that in my whole life, I don’t think every weird experience is always race related or racist. Sometimes people are just jerks and weird. I’ve never had an issue at all in royal oak but just going to that park earlier was odd and I was not feeling the vibes there so I left and this was during the daytime around 1 pm."

"Absolutely beautiful. Lots of terrain for the children to run off their energy and enjoy nature. They'll also love the playscape. Real nice tall slides and numerous other obstacles to keep them busy. What's really beautiful about Wagner park is the trillions of leaves scattered about during the fall, especially the colors throughout. Check it out you won't be disappointed."

Family Fun and Playground Features
However, parents should be aware of a few safety considerations. One of the slides is described as very steep and can unexpectedly launch smaller children after hitting a bump inside the tunnel. Additionally, there are no fences to prevent children from running into the nearby road, so constant supervision is advised.
Despite these minor concerns, the playground is generally well-loved, and the park's natural setting, especially the abundance of trees and colorful leaves in the fall, adds to its appeal for family outings. It's a place where children can enjoy imaginative play and connect with nature.
Park Amenities and Visitor Concerns
However, there are notable concerns raised by visitors. A significant issue is the lack of accessible bathrooms, which was a major inconvenience for those who traveled an hour to visit. Furthermore, the dog run areas are not clearly marked, causing confusion and difficulty in finding designated off-leash zones.
Some visitors have also reported unsettling experiences, including feeling followed by groups of men and encountering individuals exhibiting strange behavior. While these incidents are not necessarily indicative of the park's overall safety, they have contributed to a feeling of unease for some.
