"House and property have potential, but it is Not kept up well. The antiques in the house and rooms were very pretty.
The breakfast and tour were nice. Sadly, Cob webs are all over with rotten places around the house. Tub and shower in the rooms we stayed in weren’t working properly , and they knew this from our conversation. We weren’t told that we can’t lock the door when leaving. We also weren’t told the water pressure is so low , you can’t take a bath. When we went with concern, we were told there is nothing they can do!!!!! No sorry or change rooms or partial refund!!!! The water was a bit rusty and brown. The pool was disgusting. We were told it might be open, but you could tell was hadn’t been open for years. I believe the owner certainly uses a older pictures from when the property was kept up because the house is nothing like the pictures.
We will not return. We were very disappointed.

"This is a real plantation house on 650 original acres from a Spanish land grant, unchanged and not updated. Don't expect gleaming fixtures and double-glazed windows. We enjoyed it for it's authenticity and the hosts, in whose family it has been for a very long time. Breakfast excellent! Host, very friendly. Very quiet."
