Favorite library branch?

Has anyone been to a significant number of library branches in Pittsburgh? Which ones have the best atmosphere in your opinion? Not so much concerned about material selection, just looking for a comfy place to read/hang out. I've just been to the Oakland and SH locations.

Was there ever a historical crazy rich person who commisioned something "crazy" that in the end was a huge benefit to people?

I am drinking at a bar and thought of this question. Like was there a Scrooge Mcduck that built some Dr. Seuss contraption and everyone was like "you crazy", wrong.

"The librarians are friendly and extremely helpful. They make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the doors! Great selection and if they dont have it at this library, they find it for you on loan from another library! Great with kids too!!!"

"I love this library, and the women librarians!
If there is a book I've heard about & they don't have it, they find it & bring it in for me.
I'm on their e-mail list, so they notify me when I can pick it up.
Also notification reminders on the books I have checked out.
Why buy books, when you can run in there, browse to your hearts content, come home,
and read.....read.....read!
Thanks St. Joe for this great library!"

Rose Marsh
