"Instead of staying in the downtown historic, witchy area of Salem, venture only a few minutes away to a beautiful and powerful piece of culture for the Latino and immigrant citizens of Salem. There are stunning pieces of street work that had my traveling partner and I in awe. I’m impressed with the Punto Urban Art Museum and what they have to offer. I hope that other cities look to Salem’s work here and try something similar. It honors the hard working people of this community! One of my favorite murals included a quote from an artist who said they painted what they wanted in their childhood: a neighborhood with a playground. Wow. Loved it."

"Real, authentic, relatable, beautiful, truth. This is how I would describe the Punto Urban Art Museum. I often have a hard time relating to certain art forms because the canvas, lyrics, images, etc don’t speak to me. Though I couldn’t see my experience through most of these pieces, I saw some of my friends as well as my ancestors.
If you’re in Salem to enjoy the fall festivities, check out this outdoor museum. You’ll be moved."
