"What makes this park so spectacular? It's the best 7+ acres in Salem due largely for the tallest pines in maybe the whole Willamette Valley. There is a story here of where they came from, who planted them and why some of this beautiful trees have withstood some pretty horrific storms and have continued to stand tall as a beacon of one of the best communities in Salem. Here are.some photo I would like to share with anyone who would ask and be encouraged to attend the Englewood Forrest Festival held. I believe the second Saturday in August each year represents some wonderful artist Northeast Salem has to offer. I can't say enough about the most serene 7 acres you'll enjoy. Your children will stay wet in the sprinkler pond, and you dogs won't want to leave."
