Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find Gilbert House Children's Museum to be a delightful and engaging place for young children, with many praising the interactive exhibits and dedicated toddler areas. Some reviews mention occasional issues with staff politeness or unexpected closures, but the overall experience is highly recommended for families seeking hands-on fun. Reddit+1

"I took my 9 month old here and we both loved it! There is a 2 and under room with age appropriate toys and the sensory room was also enjoyable for her. I was worried she would be too little to use anything but she had a blast! We will be back."

Kendra

"Ugh, I'm so bummed about this place this year. People paid for their kids to have fun, not to see closed doors and no way in. Some employees need a little bit of learning how to be polite. They close the premises before closing time and do not allow children to play, before closing time more than 25 minutes."

Yelena S.

"This place was cool and I think people need to remember it’s in a historic house that was built way before anyone cared about Ada unfortunately. The thing that bothered me was my child was using the restroom right at 5 and one of the employees was passively rude about us leaving at 5:03. We were clearly walking straight to the exit and I stopped to ask her if it was okay to keep my car parked in the lot while we strolled the sidewalks to the near by park. Instead of answering me she says “you need to leave” but then eventually answers me but starts escorting me to the exit like I’m refusing to leave and not just trying to ask her a question real quick. Idk that was really strange to me and she could’ve just been nice and answered and not acted like my child and I were trying to stowaway or something."
