But then the employee hits me with: “Just order online and return them if they don’t fit.” Oh wow, thank you, retail genius, what would I ever do without that groundbreaking advice? So I get to freeze my money, play roulette with sizing, stand in line at the post office, and basically do YOUR job for you. If I wanted to order online, I wouldn’t have wasted gas walking into your store. Here’s a thought: instead of acting like a glorified mannequin, maybe actually provide service. Or better yet—let someone who gives a damn take your spot."
