Reviews Summary

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio is praised for its beautiful and peaceful sanctuary, and Father Gary's engaging sermons. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with church staff, citing rudeness and difficulties with sacraments and donation processes. Reddit

"These people are linked to a church and in reality some do not seem like people of GOD, they ask for donations for themselves and to help the community, but really they are the ones who supply, most of them are always in a bad mood and not friendly, they serve the community not happy, I imagine that the requirement for them to continue receiving these royalties or donations is to open the doors to the community, I really think that if you represent God or do charity work it should be with the heart and with happiness and there not everyone acts like that, it seems that some of those who are there are paying for each food that is given and obviously those who supply or benefit the most are these so-called volunteers of God, each food chain should make direct donations to the community and not go through these hands that are the ones that keep the best things and then give away what they think, I have seen other places that share equally what they are given ... they do not invest money, only time and for their own benefit. It's a shame these things are handled this way in places of God like churches. I'd like to know if they are mistreated when they go to ask for donations at Publix, for example? Does the person in charge of that donations department mistreat them before giving them the supplies?"
