"Beautiful bridge with neat information and displays at the Welcome Center. We only walked halfway across the bridge due to the late time of day. I would give myself more time to visit the displays and information next time around.
The bridge is lovely at dusk. The views of the city spectacular. The sidewalks are wide so you don't feel crowded as you make your way across."

"This is an actual monument of modern architecture. Offers amazing views to the city, the Alcatraz prison and San Francisco Bay. Visited twice, a day with sunshine and an afternoon with a little bit of fog - both views were stunning. It's totally worth it to walk across - only 2,7 km - the only thing is that you can fill the vibrations from the cars, tracks etc. right next to you.. and also on the pedestrian side, you have to be very careful of the bicycles popping up from every corner. What I did was, crossed by bus to the Vista point and then came back on foot to the View point - and then walked to the Palace of Fine Arts through Crissy Field. Really nice, relaxing walk."

"Being on one of the most iconic bridges in the world was such a breathtaking experience. The view is incredible and surprisingly relaxing, even with the crowds. The weather was cloudy during my visit, but I still ended up with quite a sunburn — so definitely bring sunblock or a hat! An unforgettable landmark that lives up to its reputation."
