"It's such a beautiful church! We went on Easter Sunday and got there one hour early to eat a small snack, also there is a small playground to play on, the people we met were nice. The music was calming,I wonder if they use the trumpets each mass besides the Easter Sunday one? Also if you go be sure to look at the seiling, there is a beautiful mural of Mary."

"We live in Santa Rosa, California, and Jefferson City, Missouri. That being said, our first stop in San Francisco, when we visit, is Star of the Sea Church. We miss the interior when we are away. We miss the peace, always. The most magnificent church we have every worshipped at. My daughter and I attend church every day wherever we are while traveling, I travel for work, we have never been to a more majestic church."

"We were introduced to Star of the Sea through my brother and even though our kids go to a different Catholic school in SF, this community feels like home. It is a gorgeous church, with a great history, and Fr. Illo is tremendous.

I know there have been issues in the past, but if you're looking to be part of a meaningful Catholic community in SF right now, look no further."
