What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Thrive City is praised for its vibrant atmosphere, especially during events at the Chase Center, and its growing culinary scene with diverse dining options. While some find holiday decorations corporate and commercial, the overall experience is often described as positive, with friendly staff and a great sense of community during games. Parking and crowds on event days are noted drawbacks.
"Although I had mentioned coming to the Chase Center here at Thrive City, watching the playoffs game (7) in person with the Warriors fans was amazing! Everyone was super friendly! Would come back cause of a great experience with the crowd!
Go, Dub Nation!!! 💙💛💙"

"Interesting how they name it thrive city! also love the outdoor space for game broadcasts!"

"Good for kids... and parents willing to stand in LONG lines for bits of free food/ drinks. Thrive City had many decorated Christmas trees - ginormous ones and tiny ones - good for photo ops, but the decorations felt very "corporate". The promised "craft stalls" were but a small handful of vendors with wholly unimaginative offerings. We were bored, for the most part, since we had no kids in our party, though it was nice to get outside with lots of other people all seeking Holiday cheer. The whole experience felt more commercial and PR-like than a good - never mind great - Holiday outing. I'd give it a miss with the pain of driving through ridiculous traffic and dealing with parking. Note: parking at the UCSF Third St garage was free on the day we visited (Saturday)."
