What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Emma Prusch Farm Park as a wonderful, family-friendly destination offering free admission and parking. The unique chicken-themed playground and the opportunity to see farm animals are major highlights, making it a beloved community gem. Some note that the playground can get crowded and hot on sunny days, and animal viewing hours should be confirmed.
"Nice playground, ample parking in the late afternoon evening. Could see how the parking could be packed. There are two playground structures which my kids enjoyed. They're not super large and can be crowded. The day I went it was luckily not too crowded and enough space for all the kids to enjoy. The farm was closed already. I could see it being a nice experience for the kids."

"A beautiful family-friendly park right in the city. There are goats and turkey in the stable, free roaming chicken, fruit trees, playgrounds, picnic areas, etc., all in one place. The parking and entry are free. Emma Prusch left behind this legacy for the well-being of San Jose residents, and it truly serves the purpose."

"I’ve always seen the red barn from the 280/101 on ramp, but never went to the park. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the park is maintained. They have a state of the art playground, a rare tree orchard, live chickens running around, and the grass is greener than most parks in the South Bay. Good place to let the kids burn off some steam."
