"The peaks above the clouds. This park has an amazing sunrise view. 360 degree view of San Marcos. We thought of going to it for 10-15 minutes but ended up spending about an hour and half just taking in the amazing panoramic views of San Marcos. There are amazing trails up and down the peaks."

"A wonderful yet challenging hike! The signs are very dated and hard to read but once we got on track it was a great time and an even better time once we hit the top! A peanut butter and jelly sandwich helped with the recovery before the decent. We chuckled once we reached the bottom because it took us about an hour less to get down. Our last little hoorah ended with gratitude trail because, well, we were thankful for a beautiful day and the opportunity to see some breathtaking views.
I would consider this a moderate-challenging hike with some of the grades being at 15% per strava anyway. It’s tough but, again, worth it."
