What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise San Marino for its stunning historical fortifications and breathtaking panoramic views. The unique experience of visiting the world's oldest republic, nestled within Italy, is a major draw. However, some reviews mention issues with customer service and obtaining permits, suggesting a need for improved administrative efficiency.
"I am very happy with Robert and Adriana. They helped me with an agressive bee hive situation. A huge bee hive fell from the city tree into the sidewalk. The queen bee was on the sidewalk with all the other bees. Robert sent his wonderful crew to rope off the area on the sidewalk before the kids got out of school. They will bring in a bee expert if needed. Thank you for caring and being prompt. 🙏"

"AWFUL! I talked to them twice with some questions I had before arriving there to get plans approved, but they told me the wrong information. Take whatever they tell you over the phone with a grain of salt. Also when I was getting my business license they asked for my I.D. (on Thursday) and I never got it back. So now I have to drive two hours just to get it back on Monday because they are closed on Friday, but what makes me upset is they had my number- they could have called me that day and told me, but they did not. Make sure that you have everything you need before you leave because they clearly do not care if you leave anything behind."
