"Nice paved trail that leads to non-paved grass trail. My dog loved it, despite the heat"

Melissa Harris

"Been walking this trail for 20 years, this was before the paths were well kept and were anything other than game trails. Great place to bring your dogs or enjoy a nice stroll. It's about 1.5 miles and VERY kid friendly. You won't get lost. To the southis a decisive river. To the north is the rail trail and road. A trek east will take you to houses and to the west will take you back on the rail trail. Been walking it alone since I was 9. Very little foot traffic! You likely won't see anyone"

Shane Dumond

"A pretty place but a lot of traffic noise. The preserve runs along Saginaw Rd so you never really get away from the noise. There are several small paths down to the river. We saw a lot of deer and coyote tracks. Part of the trail, at the beginning, is paved so you can take a stroller for a ways. There are porta-potties at the parking lot."
