"Lovely. The Tesoro Adobe was built and owned by western film actor, Harry Carey, in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Carey was instrumental in bringing other movie stars to the Santa Clarita Valley like Tom Mix, even John Wayne. The grounds are well kept with lots of old trees, cacti and other succulents. Lots of shade, places to sit. It's a quite tranquil spot to relax and take in the nature the park offers. If you meditate, this is a good spot for that. Enjoyed my brief time there with Luci and I'll bring my Wife back here for some Omzzzz. Recommended for park and historic marker enthusiasts."

But I was confused on the part where in the Park part where on the gate to the playground it said that there was security cameras and it was private property and we couldn't trespass so I was kind of confused on that. But overall four star review"

"I was taking a drive and seen the historic sign so I stopped by and unfortunately it was close to closing time so I was only able to snap a few photos but they do offer tours twice a day I belive the latest one is at 3:30pm. It's very clean, nice, and well kept (landscaping). It feels sort of relaxing there it's nice and quiet and each section has a sign explaining what it is or used to be."
