What's with the California incline?
Been working in Santa Monica a few years and people always ask me about it as thought it's some significant landmark. If you drive a mile north or south and everything connects, right? Why are people so infatuated with a ramp built into the hillside?

When people get to PCH (from the 10 West) and want to go into the Santa Monica beach parking lots, the constant flow of PCH makes it hard to turn left (only 1-2 cars can do it at a time every 2-3 minutes), so people get fed up and will block PCH just to make the turn. What is the solution here?
The CA incline is going to help here. At least you'll have an alternate route to get onto the PCH past the jam.
