What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rothenbach Park is frequently described as a 'hidden gem' with surprisingly rolling hills and pleasant shaded trails, making it ideal for walking, biking, and photography. Visitors appreciate the wildlife sightings and family-friendly amenities like playgrounds and a pavilion. Some minor upkeep issues, like grass around benches, were noted.
"This park is a hidden gem! It has trails and rolling hills like the English countryside. We love heading out here to do family photos and any other photoshoots. It closes at dusk but golden hour and sunrise are stunning!"
Megan Griffiths
"Nice trail. Good mix of open/shade, nice nature and trees. Saw lots of deer. One of my favorite places I’ve walked in the area. Some of the grass around some of benches needs cut so they are more easily accessible. The fitness posts were a nice touch too around the hammock loop. Overall very nice place for a walk and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the place!"
Nicholas Johnson
"Nice park. There are nice facilities on site and plenty of parking. I was there to run on a warm day and I like that about half of the trail is in the shade. I believe there is a 2.75 mile route and a 1 mile trail. There is plenty to look at while running."
