"A beautiful Fall day led us to Ferry Bluff to hike, enjoy the scenery and picnic. My partner hiked here as a teen so ge is familiar with the area.
The parking is somewhat limited but on a weekday, it was pretty quiet.
The trail is narrow, only one person wide and the first 5 minutes is a very gentle slope. The remainder of the hike to the top, about 15 minutes is not strenuous but it will get your heart pumping.
Once at the top of the bluff, the view is fabulous, overlooking the WI River. There are two benches and you can sit on the bluff to take in the view. There were some flies & and mosquitos, so wear some bug repellent.
Very worthwhile hike - take note: it is not open in the winter to bird nesting habitat."

Parking can be limited, so keep that in mind. The round trip hike takes about 40 minutes. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash, and entry is free. The view of the Wisconsin River from the top is absolutely stunning—but that’s pretty much all there is."

"Very easy hike for an excellent view. The hike is about 0.4 miles, took us a little over 10 minutes. It does have a moderate incline in the last 1/3 of the hike. The view is great from the top.
