"As many times as I’ve been to the U.P. Never been to the locks. Free of entry, you get to see the boats come in. They offer a toured boat ride, we did not do. Just an option. Quite of bit information inside the building about the history and how it was reconstructed. Parking wasn’t terrible to find, but make sure to bring quarters."
