We’re in Schaumburg/Itasca for the week, and I’m looking for things to do with my 1 1/2 year old. Free or cheap preferably, and not too far of a drive. We’ve found plenty of parks we’re planning on, and went to both white Sox games this past weekend :) Thanks!

They played with other children, examined rocks, crossed bridges, went down slides, and navigated the playground with ease. I love the signs around the playground with quotes and caregiver tips. The playground is fun and educational, and children learn through play, so pack the snacks, sunscreen, and water, and make it an adventure to remember."
