There is such a great variety of children’s books – even if your child can’t read yet, they can still enjoy looking at the pictures and listening to audiobooks, which helps build their interest in reading. They also have many useful and fun programs for both kids and adults. The staff are very kind and always ready to help. This library has created wonderful memories for our family. Thank you so much!"

"This library is amazing! Super clean, huge selection of books, and lots of spaces to read or study. The kids’ area is really fun and creative, and the teen section is modern and welcoming. Staff is always helpful, and I love the café and cozy seating areas. Definitely one of the best libraries around."

"As a kid I didn't go here very often as I didn't think that it was that entertaining or useful. I grew up in the digital age and it's even technology is even stronger now and everything is on the internet. And if not then everything that you ever needed to really know to get through life you have to learn by experience or you learn in school. I'm speaking though as someone who never really liked history class
Aside from that the library is doing some renovations and there isn't a big space available upstairs yet. They've made library cards free to anyone who lives in Schaumburg and rentals have a really long extension if necessary. Considering that, I guess they're doing their best to keep up with the new digital age, as they don't want people to avoid the library.
The rep at the desk encourages people to use the Ask Desk and says that they are everywhere. The employees in the Schaumburg library do appear to genuinely want to be helpful."
