"I love Jays Street! It’s a charming pedestrian shopping area with great shops. Some of my favorites are The Whistling Kettle, The Rabbit Lounge (albeit a bit pricey), and the Bear and Bird shop. There are a few restaurants I haven’t tried yet, but they look great. I recently visited for the Nightmare Market, held in May and October — it’s essentially a Halloween/Goth crafts fair that gets you into the spooky season. I loved seeing the roaming characters and the bird rescue booth. Overall, it’s a great area to visit any time of year!"
