"Amazing spot in the east valley. It can get busy on the weekends and the lot full on holidays, so arrive early. Midweek days, early mornings, or later in the afternoon are my favorite times to visit. Be sure to get a parking pass. Nice cool water (tubing is possible with proper planning), rope swings in certain spots, big shade trees, pic nic areas… this is a really nice oasis in the desert."

"We love it here. We have seen bobcats skunks cows bulls horses. Gila monsters scorpions, coyotes, Javalinas. We seen some scientist doing researches on bats. We also seen people doing astronomy presentations. Please be very cautious around the bulls, they will charge you."

"Nice place need little love, and attention,
If you looking to spend a day with no one around you it's the A+ PLACE. If you have family or kids not the best one hard to get down by the water and it's not for swimming"
