What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary

While parking can be limited, the well-marked trail and unique flora make it a favorite for many. Some find the incline challenging, but the overall experience is highly recommended.
"Nice morning hike. Not too crowded for a Saturday morning at 745am. Small parking lot with a nearby overflow parking lot. 2 miles to the peak. Not too strenuous, but it is up hill. The desert seems very lush and green along this trail, though it is March. Beautiful views"

"I would categorize this as an easy hike. Good incline gains and the trail is well marked. I went during the week and the yrail was all to myself. Mid April so the chuckwallas are out. Move along and they will do no harm. Beautiful views of the valley await you at the top. Great for trail running."

"This was a super wonderful experience. My first time here, and there was SNOW. Yes snow in Scottsdale, Arizona.
We set out, like always, before sun up. Watched the are lighten as we hiked. Show squashing under our feet. The sun came up, and the snowballs flew.
Up at the top, someone had already built a small snowman.
It was an absolutely beautiful morning. (SEE the photos)"
