What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
MOHAI is praised for its comprehensive and engaging exploration of Seattle's rich history, from its industrial roots to its modern innovations. Visitors appreciate the interactive exhibits, the scenic waterfront location, and the opportunity to learn about the city's global impact. While some exhibits are described as 'corporate,' the overall consensus is that it's a valuable and informative experience, with many wishing they had visited sooner.
"Nice museum! The Mohai was easy to get to and grab tickets for on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The actual exhibits varied from super interesting to pretty corporate, but overall we had a solid time. Not sure I need to come back for a while, but if there was another major exhibit I'd consider swinging by."

"After coming to Seattle once a year for the past 5 years, I finally decided to check this place, and I'm wishing that I had done it sooner! This museum is a 'hidden gem' that's off the beaten path a bit away from the usual go-to spots of the Pike Place and the Space Needle, but that should not stop you from coming here. The museum offers a tremendous amount of learning opportunities about the history of Seattle and the surrounding areas from hundreds of years ago to the present time, showing how this areas greatest minds contributed to culture, science and technology in so many ways. I would not hesitate to come here again.
Note: Admission was free for me since I am a member at a museum out of state that is part of the Reciprocal Museums Program. I highly recommend looking into it!"
