The hike is considered rewarding, though many note the trail is poorly marked and the final ascent is steep and slippery. Arriving early is highly recommended to avoid crowds and enjoy the cave's tranquility.

"Beautiful and quick hike to the cave!!! Very tranquil at the sunset. I started off at the Long Canyon Trailhead. The fork to the Birthing Cave is not marked. Instead, there is a log in front of it. Look at the picture below, right where there is a sign for trail you need to take a left turn behind the log towards the cave. That’s a quick and easy way!"

Olga Kiseleva

"Make sure to bring a map or all trail app to find the path! Me so many hikers on the way who couldn’t find the path.

The view from cave is absolutely stunning. The place got busy after we arrived. We left the parking lot around 7:30 am so I recommend to wake up early and start the hike before 7:30 to be able to enjoy the quietness of the cave before 30 people are packed into the small cave taking turn taking selfies!"

Kaori Tsuki

"We ended up getting lost and took the long route around the entire mountain. Thankfully it was a beautiful day but once you find the janky fence that marks the trail towards the cave be careful on the slippery incline at the top. The views are epic and totally worth the hike."
