Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Grasshopper Point as a beautiful and refreshing swimming spot in Sedona's stunning Oak Creek Canyon. Many enjoy the clear waters, cliff jumping opportunities, and scenic red rock views. However, some caution that the access trail and creek bed are very rocky and require appropriate footwear, and the area can get extremely crowded, especially on weekends.

"We got lucky. This place was fairly empty when we arrived. Great swimming spot, cold water. Lots of teens jumping from the cliffs! Visited in April, $5 to park."

Shonna Richardson

"This place is such a gem and so fun to cool off at. Quick note: the parking is NOT cash only, you can 100% tap to pay or use a credit card at the parking station. Also, so many reviewers have mentioned that it’s not an easy trek to the water and I have zero clue what they’re talking about 😂. It’s one of the easiest treks/trails that we went on during our entire time in Sedona and from the parking lot, it’s a 5min walk. Bring a tube to float down the little raging water area or jump of the cliffs! Best to bring water shoes here because the rocks in the river are extremely slippery due to the algae."

Nicole Schafer

"GREAT PLACE TO SPEND THE DAY WITH KIDS AND DOGS, TAKE IN MIND HAS A SMALL PARKING AND GETS CROWDED IN WEEKENDS AND SUMMER, GET EARLY TO GET A GOOD PLACE, WATER WAS COLD IN JUNE, HAS CLEAN RESTROOM BY THE PARKING, $15 PER CAR FOR 4 PERSON"
