Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Downtown Selma Antique District for its unique selection of vintage candies, rare sodas, and homemade pickled goods. The historic building and the exceptionally friendly and personable owner, Chandler, are frequently highlighted as major draws, creating a welcoming and nostalgic atmosphere. While primarily a shopping destination, the charm of the district and its offerings make it a highly recommended stop.

"A highly underrated spot in Selma, inside a building that you can just tell by looking at it is steeped in the history of this town.
My father and I stopped in to get some refreshments on our way back from some of the thrift and antique stores downtown and we were both surprised by the variety of goods within.
Huge candy selection and a unique and surprisingly extensive selection of rare sodas that you will not find in stores or anywhere else(and kept ice cold, too!)
In addition, there is a massive shelf of homemade pickled goods, most of which I am told by the owner are made by his sisters out in the western part of the state. I picked up a jar of their Chow-Chow(a type of relish) and am looking forward to trying more of the homemade goods, specifically the moonshine pickles.
The owner is a nice and very personable guy and will happily chat with you about anything in the shop.
I very much recommend checking this place out and showing them some love."

"Great place to go for cool but also great place to go for card collection/ baseball/ football/ Pokemon/ and memorabilia. Chandler is a great guy and welcomes you in and is always helpful. When you are in Selma NC. Go check them out and the nice little main street of Selma. You will not be disappointment."

"Love this place, stepped back in time when I saw the candy lane. Lots of candies I remembered as a child and the owner earnestly seeking to locate sellers of vintage candy brands. Lots of cool stuff in there and the owner is friendly, lots of personality. The store was previously Creech's Drug Store for 82 years, it is now on the National Historical Register, and he bought and renovated it into a happy place, good vibes from the time you enter."
