"Seen all the railfan reviews. And was really excited to come film at the station. I arrive there and the woman working told me that nobody was allowed to be anywhere near the gates where the tracks cross or anywhere near the gates unless I had a ticket. And basically told me I could only film at the end of the station where the gate ends. She said that it applies to everyone. You can’t sit on the benches and watch trains unless you have a ticket. She said she’ll call Amtrak police if people are filming on the station or watching. But it’s fine. I know the laws when it comes to public property and will definitely be making some phone calls to Amtrak. And will definitely only be visiting super late to get footage."

"Very nice Amtrak staff member, knowledgeable of all the surrounding CSX and NS rail lines, and full of fellow rail fans. The environment is also very nice and safe, and everyone around there is really friendly and warm. Only problem is the frequency of trains: we only saw 3 Amtrak’s and 1 NS train in a 6 hr period, so better arrive very early in the morning or late afternoon or evening."
