What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Heritage Village Museum for its authentic 19th-century living history experience and beautiful historic buildings, making it a popular wedding venue. While the charm is undeniable, some guests have noted discomfort during hot summer days due to a lack of air conditioning in some indoor lecture spaces.
"My wife and I rented the heritage village museum as a wedding venue and could not be happier. Having a setup space for the Bride to get ready and being able to have access to the whole museum park for the day before the wedding was amazing. The park is perfect for events and is beautiful for photography"

"We went to the Pioneer Days event. It was amazing!!! It was such an authentic experience. The presentations were outstanding!!! Will definitely go again."
Anne Wiggins Perez
"Went with my sister to the Jane Austen event and I absolutely loved it! It was going on until 4pm but we left around 1sh because the heat and the humidity were horrific but there is nothing the Heritage Museum can do about Global Warming so the heat does not reflect on them.
However, they could have at the very least rented window units for the schoolhouse and the church where the lectures were going on. I would have absolutely loved to stay and hear more about Victorian clothes and how women dressed as well as a lecture later in the day about currency, but the buildings were small, packed full, and had no air and I wasn’t able to handle it.
Will absolutely be returning again next year but I do hope they invest in some air units or other form of air conditioning where lectures are being given next year."
