What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Morrison Park is a beloved community space, praised for its family-friendly playground and river access. While appreciated for its amenities and recent upgrades like new sports courts, some visitors feel it could benefit from further modernization, given its status as the city's oldest park. Occasional issues with disruptive behavior are noted, but overall, it remains a popular spot for recreation and events.
"We love this park but its very sad to see newer parks being update. This is the cities oldest park but its a memorial park and deserves updating too."
Meg
"Nice little neighnorhood park tucked in the middle of town. Love bringing the kids here.. They enjoy the bigger slides and features for my older kiddos while I can sit only a few feet away at the smaller scale play set and animal seat with my little ones. Really like the huge seating area w grill and awning for parties. You can fit quite a few people underneath. Also the fact the play area is far feom the street giving piece of mind allowing the kids to run wild and free not javing anxiety of being close to any roadway. There could be more swings for both young amd older children.. Or at least update the 1 baby sqing to universal you see at mostly every other park these days. However, Will continue to come here."

"Has a nice little shelter house. Some of the picnic tables are in bad shape. It's not really easy to access so you can unload food and supplies for your get-together. But kids had a ball on the playground, and the bathrooms were close."
