"They are open on the 1st Saturday of the month. It's a great low-key place to bring your kids. They can play with a wooden train set, listen to live music, and trainspot. There is a fenced in area (so you can let the kids run around safely) right next to the tracks where you can see the Metro and freight trains pass by."

"Really neat space that shows the history of Silver Spring, a few model trains, and seeing the station people used to use to catch the B&O train. They host an open house with different groups displaying model trains every 1st Saturday of the month. Great for families and adults."
