"A mostly single path fairly rugged trail with limited views until you reach the top of the hill (approximately a 40 minute walk). Best hiked early in the day to avoid summer heat. Dogs, horses and bicycles are prohibited (there is a dog park just to the south "Ernest Holman Memorial Dog Park"). Mountain lions do exist in this area (~75) and one of their prey, a deer, was spotted on the hike. In sharp contrast to, but only a short distance from, the bustling Sonoma square area."
