What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple for its stunning beauty, both inside and out, and the peaceful, spiritual atmosphere of its grounds. The breathtaking views and meticulously maintained landscaping are frequently highlighted as major draws. While interior access is restricted, the exterior experience is deeply rewarding for all.
"The grounds are Beautiful & Peaceful. It was not small to me though. It felt huge on the inside. The chapel viewing area for the baptistry was my favorite part. That & the temple workers who were everywhere were very sweet. Had a great time with my son so Thank You!"

"Love this temple! It is beautiful inside and out. The view is beautiful as well. A recommend given by a bishop of the Church is required in order to enter. But anyone is welcome to walk the grounds. [Any newly-constructed temple has a period of time when anyone can enter to look around and learn about the temple (during the “open house” time), then it is dedicated and is closed to the public (unless you have the recommend)]. It is a special place where marriages are performed. This temple has a nice water fountain outside the front doors. There is also a huge grassy field on the North side that is nice to have a picnic on, etc. A walk around this beautiful temple is good for the soul! There is handicapped parking and van accessible."

"Absolutely amazing. Perfect time of the day also. The sun was setting behind it and the pictures I captured are ridiculously beautiful. I want to move in next door. So anxious for the church to reopen them, I need to be inside as much as I can be."
