Eagle Falls

Eagle Falls is located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, directly across from Emerald Bay. Take Highway 89 north from South Lake Tahoe for about 8 miles. The Eagle Falls Picnic Area, the main trailhead, will be on your right. Parking is extremely limited, so arriving early is crucial.

Parking is available at the Eagle Falls Picnic Area, but it is very limited and fills up quickly. Many visitors end up parking along the road, sometimes up to a mile away, and walking to the trailhead. +1
